​How We Differentiate

​We are fundamental stock pickers.  Our goal is not to mock an index with sector weightings or conduct top down analysis investing in a basket of well known companies in a sector.  Clients are offered the ability to view their investments daily, versus the standard monthly or quarterly viewing offered by many other investment managers.  Another differentiator is the long/short investment strategy offered in a separately managed account.

Our Difference

​​Our Fees

​Currently, our annual management fee is two percent (2%) and is charged monthly.  Our annual incentive fee is twenty percent (20%) after a five percent (5%) hurdle rate and is charged quarterly.

​​Custodian of Assets

Dakota Asset Management does not hold client assets in-house.  Client assets are held by our custodian, Interactive Brokers (NYSE: IB).  Aside from the quarterly statements received from Interactive Brokers, clients may access their separately managed account online and receive daily reports showing all activities for full transparency.
